Through Lowen Baumgarten Consulting, I work with clients in the tech, aviation, finance and social sectors. I manage communications plans and create compelling content for publications, websites, social media and live events.
Principal and Founder
For over 15 years, I’ve brought ideas to life with clarity and style, for companies that include Microsoft, Visa, PG&E, Cisco, PwC, Philips and HP. I’ve worked with tech startups, nonprofit groups, philanthropic foundations and venture firms.
I started as a freelance writer and today provide a variety of creative services. Since launching my business in 2010, I have partnered with PR firms, designers, web developers, photographers, videographers and creative agencies.
Before founding Lowen Baumgarten Consulting, I worked in the DC office of FleishmanHillard, a global PR agency. At FH, I specialized in public affairs for governments and multinationals.
I have a bachelor’s in international politics & economics from Georgetown University. No longer fluent, but I speak some Chinese, Spanish and French. I live in Oakland, Calif. and I love backpacking in the Sierras, trying out new coworking spaces and running around Lake Merritt.
